HSMD Hopes Successfully Concludes the Beyond Silence, Beyond Stigma Project in Musanze District
HSMD Hopes successfully conducted a Linkage Training of Trainers (ToT) in Musanze District, bringing together girls and single mothers with disabilities, duty bearers, and Friends of Family groups to strengthen referral pathways, enhance collaboration, and promote sustainable community support systems.

The training equipped participants with the knowledge and skills needed to improve coordination among stakeholders, ensuring that women and girls with disabilities can continue to access essential services, protection, advocacy, and economic empowerment opportunities within their communities.
The event also marked the official handover and close-out of the Beyond Silence, Beyond Stigma Project, celebrating the significant progress achieved in advancing the rights, inclusion, dignity, and well-being of women and girls with disabilities.

Throughout the project, strong partnerships were built among community members, local leaders, and service providers. These collaborations have laid a solid foundation for continued support beyond the project’s lifespan, reinforcing inclusive referral systems and community-based protection mechanisms.
HSMD Hopes expresses its heartfelt gratitude to the Kvinna till Kvinna Foundation for sponsoring and supporting the Beyond Silence, Beyond Stigma Project. Their unwavering commitment to empowering women and girls, promoting inclusion, and challenging stigma has made a lasting impact on the lives of many beneficiaries.
As the project comes to a close, HSMD Hopes remains committed to working alongside communities and partners to advance disability inclusion, gender equality, and equal access to opportunities for all.
