HSMD Hopes Participates in National SRHR Convening to Advance Reproductive Justice in Rwanda
Hope for Single Mothers with Disability (HSMD Hopes) was honored to participate in the National Convening on Advancing Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) in Rwanda, joining civil society organizations dedicated to promoting reproductive justice and ensuring equitable access to SRHR services for all.
The convening provided an important platform for dialogue, learning, and collaboration among organizations working to strengthen advocacy efforts and address key challenges affecting access to comprehensive Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights.
Throughout the event, participants engaged in meaningful discussions, exchanged experiences, and explored strategies for advancing safe abortion services, improving post-abortion care, and protecting the sexual and reproductive health rights of all people, particularly those from marginalized and underserved communities.
As an organization committed to empowering women and girls with disabilities, HSMD Hopes recognizes the importance of inclusive SRHR policies and services that ensure no one is left behind. Participating in national conversations such as this strengthens our commitment to advocating for accessible, equitable, and rights-based healthcare for women and girls with disabilities.
